The result of a pretty devastating frost in November 2023 left us with little fruit so we picked all the white varietals on one day, hence the field blend.

The trail was fermenting these white varietals off skins. See which comes through the most. as we didn't weigh each parcel, it's unknown the actual varietal mix but at this stage you certain ly see the riesling the most. I'd expect the other varieties - Chardonnay, Roussanne and Viogner - pock their heads up at some stage. 

We mainly note the very lifted aromatics as we'd expect from these globes.

Over three vintages we tested out these 220l wine globes. Using various estate grown varieties, on and off skins, for one year on lees. They are released as this project in 2026
