Ravensworth 2022 Barbera + Nebbiolo
"For many reasons, it makes sense to blend these two – they originally hail from the same region, Piedmont, and are so complementary. Nebbiolo's acidity and tannins offset the juicy fruit of barbera. There’s more, but let’s start with a core of sweet and sour cherries, amaro and bitter herbs, woodsy spices and charred radicchio. It’s tangy, supple and juicy with grainy tannins. And dare I say it is very Italianate in outlook. Love it."
