Riesling being the poster child, pure fruited, focused and the always interesting ‘The Grainery’ which is a blend of the so-called Rhone white varieties. Pinot Gris comes from three growers in three regiosn to add multiple layers and texture.
Obviously the shiraz viognier is king of the reds here in Murrumbateman, no secret this is made along the same lines as is the great ‘Killa SV. Sangiovese has been the pet wine since dot. We source fruit from our vineyard plus a few others around the region to take advantage of the fact that it’s a bugger to grow so we spread the risk around a bit. Nebbiolo is the new kid, all the fruit comes from one Brian Mullany’s vineyard from Young. A work in progress but a lot of fun to have access to a terrific variety like this.
