2016 Tinto - garnacha tinto, tempranillo, monastrell, cinq sao

"A Spanish inspired blend of Grenache (Granacha tinot), Tempranillo (Tempranillo), monastrell (Mataro) and Cinsault (Cinq-sao) for no other reason that the wine is so delicious, fragrant, delicate and I happened to be eating a pretty neat paella when I was writing the label. 

Spanish food with lots of tomatoes, seafood and stuff. 

Down it now or short term over the next few years.

VINEYARD  Quarry hill and a little from Euroka park

SOIL Red granite

SLOPES South and easterly aspect

VINTAGE NOTES Awesome year, perfect conditions

WINEMAKING NOTES Fairly simple whole-berry ferment, on skins for two weeks, pressed and into 5 year old, neutral barriques. unfiltered as per usual

ANALYSIS  pH3.5, TA 6.9g/l, RS 0.3g/l, FSO2 24ppm
